mr. Fortin, I was looking in the history for executions done in quebec canada. I went looking for the name of Venant clavet, as i noticed this name on one of you posts, i found also wilbert coffin. if you look this history up, maybe you have already, you will also notice it says he was hanged because he shot three amercian hunters? so history also has it wrong.... the blame was one hunter, wasnt it?? there was no proof the hunters were shot.

Also in this article ''CANADA PENALTY INDEX'' is written :
'' The local coroner held an inquest which concluded the trio was murdered by persons unknown.
His report was sent to the attorny general and subsequenly disappeared .
Was it ever recovered ?
