we see the burial or removal permit for eugene lindsay, cause of death unknown...i assume you will be posting same permit for richard lindsay also,this is the one that intrests me...
i do not understand this case. one minute wilbert coffin had no money....james coffin said his dad could not hire a good defence because he had no money...
now mr. stoddard is claiming he had lots of money and bought a truck for a large amount of money.
If he had a truck in 1948, why did he have to borrow bakers truck in 1953.
bakers daughter said her DaD, bill baker, may have died of a broken heart a couple weeks after wilbert coffin was hanged, because they were such close friends....yet bill baker never offered to put out the money for a good lawyer for coffin,
why. you would think a very good friend would surly offer to help. OR,was it baker that had no money left at that time..
these were the words coffins sister told to toronto star...
After his arrest, the family tried to scrape together enough money for a defence. "My sister and I went all over the town of Gaspé begging for money. We were just hoping for a loan. No luck."
this case sure takes on its twists and turns, and is very hard to understand.

This case is hard to understand as long as you pay attention to the gossips. But it becomes crystal clear the minute you make yourself acquainted with the evidence.
The burial permit mentions that the cause of death is undetermined. It is understandable since this permit was issued before the trial.
