mr. coffin was not tried for three murders, only for one murder...
this should be corrected....
Under the Canadian Criminal Code, a person may not be charged for more than a murder at a time. In the Coffin case, the Crown chose Richard Lindsey as the victim. I have already explained that at length in my book L’affaire Coffin: une supercherie? Some time ago, on this blog, I reiterated this same explanation. Undoubtedly, the remains of three men were found and identified.
